Jessica Schulz, MSW, is a social worker who provides therapeutic support to children, adolescents, adults, and families. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University with a concentration in clinical social work.
Jessica brings over 15 years of experience working in the medical field, which has provided her with a strong understanding of the connection between physical health, mental health, and overall well-being. She is also certified in ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, PTSD, and trauma-focused care, allowing her to provide additional support and understanding to individuals with a variety of emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.
Jessica especially enjoys working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, ADHD, autism, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, low self-esteem, family changes, school-related challenges, and difficulties with peer relationships. She uses an individualized and developmentally appropriate approach that may incorporate CBT-based interventions, supportive therapy, play-based activities, creative expression, coping-skills development, and psychoeducation.
Jessica believes therapy should provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and expressing their thoughts and emotions. She works to meet each client where they are while helping them recognize their strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, improve communication, build confidence, and create meaningful changes that extend beyond the therapy setting.
