Develop your personal strengths
Jennifer’s goal is to provide a therapeutic relationship and environment of safety, allowing you to address problems and develop personal strengths vital to personal growth and a sense of competence. Her focus is to help children, individuals, and families work through challenges, develop and strengthen bonds, and explore personal and family unit resources.
Education and training
Her clinical education and training focused on understanding and treating children and families. Jennifer’s dissertation research investigated half-time or greater stepmothers’ experiences of their role and relationship with their stepchildren. This parenting role proves to be unique and the least understood of the parenting roles. Training experiences include working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Advanced clinical training and experience includes working with adolescents in residential treatment and adolescents in the therapeutic school environment, treating an array of socio-emotional and neuropsychological challenges.
