I am a doctoral level intern at Capella University, working toward my PsyD in Clinical Psychology. I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s in Clinical Counseling with a focus on Clinical Psychology.
I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to work toward their goals. My therapeutic approach is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also recognizing the importance of the biopsychosocial model. I believe that understanding how biological, psychological, and social factors interact provides a more complete picture of each person’s experiences and helps guide individualized treatment.
I aim to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories.
I know that asking for help can be hard, so my goal is to make sure clients feel heard, respected, and accepted. Whatever the situation, I look forward to working together and always offer a warm, friendly smile.
