Our team of clinicians offer a wide range of evidence informed therapeutic techniques based on a variety of theoretical disciplines and are an enthusiastic support network for our trainees. Our practice also offers psychological and neuropsychological assessment services for ages 2 years, 6 months through adulthood using up-to-date testing materials and methods.

Program overview

CFTSAP is committed to the professional development of the next generation of mental health clinicians that includes developing clinical competence, professional confidence, and work-life balance vital to navigating this demanding field in a sustainable and rewarding manner. CFTSAP offers clinical training opportunities to doctoral diagnostic, clinical, and advanced externs, masters level interns, and social work students. Our program is designed to provide students with a robust training experience supporting experience with a diverse population of clients including culture, ethnicity, age, identity, socioeconomic status, and clinical conditions.

A minimum of two hours of clinical supervision (individual and group) by one of our supervisor team members as appropriate to the training level will be provided. Group supervision includes review of diagnostic assessment processes, practical application of therapeutic methods, case conceptualization, and introduction to advanced and/or specialty methods.

Ideal candidates will have a strong ethical focus, demonstrate professional comportment, be able to actively participate in sustaining a healthy professional culture, and have a growth mindset toward professional development that lends to an effective supervision experience through active engagement. Students are expected to be responsible for awareness of their required hours and maintain consistency in their attendance.
